About Us

For over 13 years, my work in the wellness industry was centered around motor vehicle accident rehabilitation—helping individuals recover from injuries and regain their mobility, which was rewarding. When I transitioned into perinatal and women’s wellness, I started to see a gap in the system—one that families, especially in diverse communities, often struggled to navigate.

There were clinics dedicated to injury recovery, sports rehab, and motor vehicle accidents, and there were spaces focused on women’s health and perinatal care. But what about families as a whole? Many wellness environments weren’t welcoming to children, and often spouses didn’t always feel comfortable in perinatal settings. 

 

As a postpartum doula, I saw this gap firsthand. Families with newborns experiencing neck tightness, feeding struggles, or discomfort were rarely told to visit a chiropractor—the lack of awareness was striking. Many had never heard of pediatric chiropractic care or other holistic therapies that could help their little ones thrive. I found myself educating every family, helping them understand that wellness is not just about fixing pain—it’s about preventing issues, optimizing health, and supporting the whole family at every stage of life.

The final driving force? Representation. There are very few Indo-Caribbean-owned wellness spaces, and I saw that our community often doesn’t see these services as "for them". Many families/individuals simply don’t know what’s available, and I wanted to change that. I wanted to create a space where all walks of life feel comfortable, seen, and valued—a place that offers education, empowerment, and truly inclusive care.
